Zomato: A Better way to find FOOD !

Earlier we used to eat food recommended by our friends & families or either google the best place to eat. But since Zomato was launched in July 2008 the way to find food became more spontaneous. The website had tons of restaurants/cafès on the list. I found about the zomato mobile app few years back which was quite constructive. I recommended it to my friends & they were delighted to use it with such an ease.

Every year they make significant product changes & takes feedback from the users. Here are my Like & Dislikes/Recommendation.

Likes:

1) Exploring categories - This is my most esteemed feature of zomato. From Student favs to Pocket Friendly they have all categories. Being a vegan zomato provides a list of trending restaurants of the week.

2) Profile Feature - Another enthralling feature on zomato. Like any other social media sites we can make our own profile with a user name. We can follow the paramount food lovers & also read their magnificent reviews.

3) SpeedDial Feature - Like we have a list of family members/friends on our speed dial, equivalently zomato let the users to add their fav resto/café on a speed dial. Isn't that marvelous ? & the best thing is that we can use this feature offline.

Recommendations:

1) Booking tables - Acknowledge we are in a low signal area where making a call at restaurant to book tables is infeasible but we have a working wifi network we could easily book tables online. Sometimes even after numerous calls the restaurant staff doesn't respond. This feature can also display the status of your booking, like is it confirmed or on hold.

2) Discount Coupons - Who doesn't like discounts? Collaborating with restaurants, zomato can provide discounts on online orders or booking tables. This will allure more customers which will benefit both zomato & restaurant owners.

3) Video Reviews - As it is said all that glitters is not gold likewise the food photos uploaded are never comparable with actual food items. A small video about the dish can help us decide the quality & quantity in real.
